Embroidery isn’t printing…..is it?

The most common sight in Embroidery suppliers are rows and rows of ‘sewing devices, running multiple threads to each device outputting high quality colours.

Each ‘sewing machine’ requires regular replacement of threads to ensure colour accuracy of the sewn garment.

Thread replacement can be labour intensive.

But what would you say, if I told you that you only need one reel of white thread and a Coloreel system to get the same results?

One white thread, ‘printed’ with the appropriate colour as it passes through the system and is then sown into the pattern.

Yes, that’s right…ONE THREAD!

But it isn’t printing is it? It’s just thread!

Until you learn that the colour is added using Ricoh inkjet heads.

Clever Rioch!
